In an effort to promote Hellenic Culture at all levels in the Southwest region of the US, the Cretan Association of Houston, HCC, present a unique musical event. Not since the 1930’s has such a musical event been offered to the US public.

On the 26th of September, at 4:00 PM CST, at the Wortham Center of Houston (house of Houston’s Grand Opera) in the Cullen Theater, we present to quality music lovers, “Greek Tango”.

Take a two hour stroll in the romantic Greece of the first half of the 20th century. Hear songs filled with memories from that special time when they were created.

Be part of this ground-breaking modern and humane approach to the known and unknown 20th century with respect to the sounds and images that created these songs which became classics. This is a real opportunity to promote a deeper profile of the culture of Greece. Shedding light to an unknown, deeper side of Greek culture
