2025 Remembering Cyprus – A Call to Gather in Prayer and Solidarity

On this solemn occasion, we invite our greater Houston family to stand together in remembrance of the 1974 invasion of Cyprus and honor the lives forever altered by that tragic event.

Join us at 9:30 a.m. for the Divine Liturgy and Memorial Service
St. Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church
1110 St. Basil Street, Houston, TX

The service will conclude with a Trisagion for the fallen and missing. Immediately afterward, Friends of Cyprus will host a fellowship coffee hour with homemade cookies. During this gathering, Dr. Manos Papadakis will offer a special presentation reflecting on the historical, humanitarian, and cultural legacy of the invasion.
